Philip Marie

A few months ago, I met up with a friend for brunch. He chose the cute West Village restaurant, Philip Marie, which is described at a “Low-key American standby”.

We arrived on time for our reservation but decided to wait about 15 minutes for a table by the window…so we enjoyed some super boozy mimosas. We later found out that they added vodka to their mimosas for an extra kick.

Once seated at our table, I ordered a Crab Cake Benedict and my friend ordered the Atlantic Salmon and Chive Burger.

We enjoyed our boozy mimosas and our main courses. The crab cake eggs Benedict was delicious. Just the perfect amount of crab cake with the other Benedict elements. The potatoes were well seasoned as well! I also had a refreshing side of fruit!

My friend said he enjoyed his salmon burger as well.

I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance at Philip Marie. Be sure to try this quaint West Village spot!
