Urban Farmer

Last weekend, I was in Philadelphia for Made In America. This was my second time in philly! A big group of us wanted to head to brunch before driving back to NYC. We were walking around looking for restaurants, when my friend noticed Urban Farmer’s patio.

I walked in and spoke to the hostess who set us up at a nice banquet outside. We were sort of celebrating a friends birthday and sort of just a group of friends trying to enjoy a delicious brunch. The server hooked us up with mimosas and made sure we all felt special.

The menu was difficult to decipher because everything looked amazing! Between the 9 of us, everyone ordered the same few dishes.

My friend and I both ordered the Popcorn Shrimp and Grits, which had pulled pork and a poached egg as well.

A few others ordered The Farm Burger which was uniquely served on an English muffin with a side of French fries.

And a few others ordered the Honey Biscuit. It was a huge biscuit with Fried Egg, Fried Chicken, Sausage Gravy, and Lemon Marmalade.

It was a treat to be in the beautiful Logan Circle enjoying our yummy meal amongst good friends.

I would recommend Urban Farmer if you are ever in Philadelphia. The service was amazing. The food was unique. The restaurant is beautiful.
